We know it can be hard to fundraise without getting people together, but here’s some ideas for getting your friends and family involved to help raise funds for MyBigCareer.

Clear out the clutter

With more time at home, round up  your unwanted clothes, tech, books or music and sell your stuff on eBay for charity or Facebook Marketplace to raise funds for MyBigCareer

Fundraise from your sofa

Each time you shop online, just use www.easyfundraising.org and we could receive up to 5% of the amount you spend, sometimes more.

There’s over 4,000 retailers taking part including Argos, eBay, Apple, CurrysPCWorld, AO.com, and Holland & Barrett. Also broadband & TV providers like SKY, insurance companies like Aviva, and price comparison sites USwitch & MoneySuperMarket.

If you’re an Amazon shopper, make sure you use Amazon Smile and they will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases when you select MyBigCareer as your charity.

MyBigTalent night

Have you and your friends got hidden talents? Get everyone together for a virtual MyBigTalent night with awards for best and worst performances. Or set them all a challenge to learn a new skill and showcase it at your online fundraising night for MyBigCareer.

Quiz mastery

Host a 70s, 80s & 90s themed quiz. Get teams together for a virtual quiz night and make them dress-up from the era when they were leaving school.

Home bake-off

Challenge your friends to bake up some sweet treats, with everyone doing the big reveal on video chat or social media. Or host a coffee n cake break for all your friends who are home-working.

Achieve some goals

With the Euros re-scheduled for 2021, why not challenge your mates or work colleagues to show their skills in an online gaming marathon with everyone making a donation to enter.
